4 Apps I Use Every Day to Write Better
Before these apps and websites, I was really bad at writing.
Today it's been almost 2 years since I started my Medium writing journey.
During this period, I’ve really gained a lot of experience and I try to share all the experiences I have learned and succeeded in 2 years with new online writers or who needs.
This means that the number of followers I can reach in 2 years, the amount of income, you can have in a much shorter time by applying the experience and advice I share.
Whenever I review my previous articles, I can easily realize how much progress I have made each time.
So how did I achieve this improvement and which apps and websites helped me?
First of all, I should mention this. I have a personality that is focused on development and success.
When I started my Medium and Online writing journey, I started to feel a sense of accomplishment that I had previously felt for my 9-5 job.
I am a person who reads a lot and researches a lot.
To be successful on Medium, I can honestly say that I was thinking of strategies even in my dreams.
I can honestly say that I am obsessed with it.
My problem is that I don't have time to write as much as I would like due to my private life with family and my current 9-5 job.
Despite this, I think I have come a long way in a period of 2 years.
I’ve shared around 500 articles on Medium, my monthly view more than 10K and continues to increase month to month.
My number of e-mail and newsletter members on different platforms have been increasing day by day.
These positive results motivate me more and I continue to write with more excitement.
So, which apps and websites do I use to write my articles?
#1 - Hemingway Editor
In my opinion, Hemingway is the best writing app for writers ever.
So I’m starting with this part.
Hemingway provides us that while you write your articles, you can easily see the readability score of your articles and also see all the numbers for total words and sentences right inside the app.
My favorite feature is publishing my articles as drafts on Medium directly from Hemingway.
#2 - Grammarly Desktop
Grammarly is one of the best apps to help writers find grammar mistakes and help them write with punctuation warnings.
All the successful Top Writers on Medium use it.
In fact, many of the publications you want to submit your articles to recommend that you use grammarly when writing your articles.
Because this way, editors spend less time checking your articles.
#3 - Mate Translate
English is my second language.
My mother language is Turkish and I am also currently learn at German.
So sometimes when I write articles in English I have to find the meanings of difficult words.
Mate Translate helps me find translations of difficult English words for me.
I can easily use Mate Translate by right-clicking translate.
#4 - Copy Clip (Just for MacOS)
I use many sources when I write my articles.
I store important pieces directly in the Copy Clip panel, and I just use "Cmd+C" or "Ctrl+C" to copy them to the clipboard.
I can easily find the clipboard articles that I cite from sources when I need them again.
Conclusion
These four apps are my favorites for writing all my posts on Medium.
I hope these will also help those who are just starting their writing journey and are looking for useful apps to get better.
